icon sums it up

don't you hate it when you work on something and then some higher up arse who does jack shit pokes holes in something that took you hours to do. am sitting raging at my stupidity in making the mistake and embaressed at the way they pointed the mistake out. I wrote brain instead of briant - the name of our accountant. so our account is brainy - get it? The chair loved that our accountant was so brainy. Instead of saying oh kelly slight mistake in the minutes - he poked fun at me. Not a happy bunny i do not take critism well even if it is deserved. It just . well it pisses me off. Be grateful someone sat at your dull ass meeting taking notes, dont mock them for a mistake that could easily be down to spell check

although it probably wasnt. I do that mistake alot, type brain instead of brian. teh instead of the. your a twat instead of huh?

Its been ages since I last wrote in this. So will do a brief update to save the boredom of those on the fiend list.

Am still working for the same place and still getting paid peanuts for doing it. I do love it here at times, unless the work all hits you at once then I hate it and want to go work elsewhere. Kyle is doing okay although he is still a little shit at times. Am still seeing James and am 100 % loved up with him. Other than that its a case of same old same old. I still go out, get drunk with my mates and love nothing better to surf the net or grab my latest tv obsessions.

So onto the tv obsessions. I recently got hooked on Lost again. I had previously given up when Anna Lucia got killed. BAD michael!!! So I started watching it and without spoiling it the fourth season is by far the best but has its unanswered questions like the others seasons. Because of the huge break between season I have been starting to watch prison break. Have almost finished watching season one. Have a few eps left. So other than keeping up to date with grey's (poor ending) and Heroes which hasn't started again yet.

Will need to catch up with ppl soon

I cannot, reapeat cannot believe they cancelled veronica mars!!! The stupid ending between Veronica and Logan!

Am feeling very depressed in reguards to tv shows. I get hooked and they end up cancelled. I guess so many seasons of the show i should be greatful but there is so much crap on tv that I think my shows should get to stay!! Even if those without brains think my shows are the rubbish ones.

I dont have any shows the now, they are all on hiatus. I have replaced veronica with brothers and sisters. Which I adore, sally field is a pure legend. I love the that rob lowe is in it looking delicious aswell. Nice seeing Calista asgain but I keep waiting for a little joke scene to slip in around her. Ally McBeal another example of my tv shows that ended!! how very dare they!!!!!!

My life borders on a coma. Have booked a hen weekend with my future sister!! Costa Brava which is all inclusive which means loads of free booze and free food, did I mention free booze?

I recently rediscovered my dirty99 account. The loayout was created by splint and I remeber loving it. I am thinking of begging him to do a new one for this journal.

Am chief bridesmaid for my brothers wedding sopunds strange but he is marrying my best mate. Well he met her first and we became friends after that . Anyway we both dont really like many people so we are going on holiday for the hen party together.

I was determind to stay in the house for April Fools. Was not letting any pranks or jokes humilate me for another year. BIz thought this was funny and informed me I had been a foll for years so what was one more day. Which is true, especially where her son is concerned. . where Mark is concerned am a complete moron not a fool.

I miss KAss, Consta and everyone else so much. Desperately need to get the net at home. I just never seems to be able to keep cash for long enough to set the whole thing up.

I am determind to go in and book a holiday for Kyle and I this year. Trouble is am greedy and a week just doesnt seem long enough. Now all I have to do is cut back on my spending. I watse so much money. On utter rubbish.

Loved Veronica Mars -

I dont think Logan cheated as they had broke up. So technically it shouldn't count but am a girl and hell yes it would count to me. I liked how she saved the monkey but lost the fight as another ppor moneky would be sacrificed.

I am hoping and praying that February will get better as January has me suicidal it has been so bad. I have more than had my fair share of trouble but never so much squeezed into one bloody month.

I am going to make a few resolutions

The news eps of Veronica have been amazing. Some of the new shows are really good this season and by that i basically mean Heroes and Ugly Betty. I just want to grab Betty and force a make over onto her poor soul. The nephew is funny and him on the dance mat was the funniest thing i have seen in ages.

CSI has been really good this season so far anyway, still have not seen any of this weeks eps which is annoying. So behind.

Thanks to wow_sugarpuss I found somewhere I could order the Veronica Mars season two boxsets earliers than the 22nd. I cannot wait for them to arrive but saying that if she had let me know you could order them earlier I would be like her and have them already. . . . I will have them sooon though. How many days I wonder? I cannot wait am so excited. I need to re-buy the first season I have watched them so many times they are old now.

I accidently spent some of Kyle's school money to buy the DVD's ooooops. Only thirty quid what could I have bought for that anyway. . . [/quilty shame]

There are so many boxsets that I want. I want all the gilmore girls dvds and I want the grey's anatomy dvd's.

I want hairspray, cry baby and girls just wanna have fun too but will buy those asap or when I get paid next week.

So weirdest thing happened to me the other day we were talking about crushes and mine contacted me via friends reunited. Its so weird talking to someone who knows stupid little things about me. I almost got it together with this guy twice, first time he was drunk and second time I was drunk lol. I have been super hyper all day just because I am talking to him and it was great just talking to someone from my high school time. I was one of those girls who was miserable at school but looking back I really wasnt. Its not sexual or flirty but its comfortable and friendly. I feel really comfortable talking to him. It could very easily rekindle my crush as he is single but lives far away now. . .

Talking of Veronica Mars great ep last week but I cannot believe we are on the finale ep. How long til we have a season 3 date. WE need a season 3, we need Mac as a regular (ideally veronicas room mate). Almost as much as the show its self I am gonna miss Whordy's pic spams. Epic Love must be answered aswell but I agree with whordy we dont wnat them back together so we miss another summer of them as a couple. Grey's Anatomy & New Job

Oh I just saw the first Burke and Christina kiss. It was hot, much more passion that meredith and derek. I loved the little looks and such and that scene was awsome. Bailey catching meredith and derek was funny but when she said "Information is power" I knewe deep dopwn it was a spoiler that she could and might use what she knows about meredith and deek against them. I really love this new show. Not as much as gilmore girls or my veronica mars but its new and fresh and I like it. I wish everyone would hurry up and play catch up I prefer them being ahead of me.

I got a new job. Isnt that great. Its actually not that much of a change its more responsibilty than i have now and the workload is alot bigger but its a challenge and I love those. I am soooooooooooooo excited. There were 40 applicants and I got it. I was bouncing for ages thinking i got the job and it gave me a major happy.

Fight Club, sendspace and other guff

I watched Fight Club last night and got to saay there isnt many films out there like it. The first time was confusing as you were getting Ed Norton's characters hints but there was so much in the film you didnt really process it fully. This is a film where when you watch it you see new layers to the films itself. Ive got the subtle hints from teh start about his alter personality and such and why the characters act the way they do now but what struck me last night was two things.

The ideals within this film was so profound and yet it mocked itself with Brad Pitt. Tyler gave lenghty speech after speech about the mopdern way of life and how it represses us and he was right ofcourse it does. We are always trying to meet this target which is impossible we surround ourself with things until our life becomes about those things and we lose whats important to us. We are a generation without a cause and he was right when he said we have no war and no depression to give our lives something to fight for. We basically fill our lives with real petty shit. Then again the scene in the bus mocks the whole theme of the film when they look at the advert of the firm abs advertising nice masculine knickers(is there a form of masculine pants? I think not) we see a sexy six pack and when when norton asks is this what a man looks like? Norton has created this alter ego who looks like a chiselled adonis. In his mind he has created someone smart, brave and utterly flawless. Norton created in his later ego what he thinks a man should look like. We have this adonis who every man either openly or secretly aspires to be telling a range of men who fall short of his looks that they dont need to be this perfect guy and the reason they buy it hook line and sinker is because in truth its really norton who delivers the speeches. Now in other films I have found norton attractive (American History X) but in this film he looks not ugly but dowdy next to Pitt. The whole powerful message that Tyler evokes with his little speeches is lost in the irony that they are coming in nortons mind from this picture perfect guy who doesnt care what others thing of him like we all do.

On another note how freaky albino like does Jared leto look in that film. That man should not have blonde hair. *shiver*

I hate lazy ppl and thats bad because I am a lazy person. The cleaner for the building in which I work didnt bother to come in and clean last night. So I have been freaking out with turret like symptoms scrwaming out what a lazy old fart she is and calling her obscene names. Makes me feel better as I mop and generally do her fucking job Lazy bitch probably walked in seen the place needed cleaned and walked out. My boss has OCD and the place is spotless the cleaner gets paid for fuck all here and my boss is on leave this week and she would have needed to actually clean and she just hasnt bothered. O.A.P's need to be placed in a secure unit. Away from humanity. End of rant.
